The Quality Matters (QM) standards can provide a good jumping-off point for you when designing your online or hybrid courses. Many faculty are intimidated by QM, or think that somehow by following QM standards their academic freedom will be compromised, but in fact QM has nothing to do with your course content - it's all about making your course structure more accessible for students.
In fact, if you have a CGCC syllabus for your course, you have already started using QM!
