This could be good for a lot of different discuplines, but I think it could be REALLY good for economics, where some of the "explanations" are very visually based. I often have several students ask me the same question by email reagarding a homework problem; posting a SketchCast would be an efficient way to show the entire class how to solve the problem.

Here is my first try; just trying to see if I could work the tool. It's really easy, but it will take me a few times to master smoother lines! I think the part that will make this really useful is that there is voiceover capability (which I didn't use here, but I certainly will be playing with . . .):

Juliane and Julie will test this with a stylus and a StarBoard Panel...would definitely make drawing easier.  We will keep you posted!  Well, here is the result.  Very simple to create - only downside is that the work is public (which really shouldn't be an issue, but....).
